At Long range, it deals a staggering 1d100 damage — but the 10-second cooldown between shots makes it impractical for sustained combat. The laser cutter is a tool first, weapon second. It's perfect for cutting through bulkheads, precision demolitions, and one-shot kills against unaware targets. The beam is visible, so it gives away your position. Use it surgically, not suppressively.
